Cavaliers All-Star Jarrett Allen will play in the team's elimination Play-In Tournament game against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday, Cleveland announced. Allen, who has been out since early March due to a fractured finger, was listed as questionable for the game on Cleveland's injury report earlier in the day.

Allen suffered the injury in the Cavaliers' game against the Toronto Raptors on March 6. The center initially left the game with a quad contusion and was then also diagnosed with a left middle finger fracture.

Allen was averaging 16.3 points, 10.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 55 games played before the injury.

Asked about Allen's status at practice Thursday, Cavs coach J.B. Bickerstaff said the team hadn't ruled anyone out nor ruled anyone in for Friday.

Cleveland, the No. 8 seed after the regular season, lost its first Play-In game against the Nets on Tuesday. With a win Friday, the Cavaliers would advance to face No. 1 seed Miami in the first round of the playoffs — and would be eliminated with a loss.
